How do I assign a pay rate for a specific user?

Various factors, including performance evaluations and length of service, can lead to employees receiving different pay rates for carrying out identical tasks.

To assign an individual pay rate for a user, go to the user's profile.
Click the Duties tab.

Click into the pay rate cell for the appropriate Duty. 
Enter a pay rate and hit Enter when done.
The individual pay rate is saved automatically.

click into cell to enter individual pay rate

Once a pay rate is established for an individual staff member that data will be entered every time they are scheduled to work.   This pay rate is only for this specific user.
