Once Break Time Notifications have been enabled by a Client Success Representative, the next step is to configure the location-specific settings for when those reminders should be sent.
Step 1: Navigate to Location Settings
- Under Location Settings, go to the Information sub-tab.
- This section appears under Schedule Rules once Break Time is enabled.
- This section appears under Schedule Rules once Break Time is enabled.
Step 2: Configure Break Notification Timing
Within the Information tab, you’ll see options to determine how far in advance staff should receive a break reminder.
Available Notification Timing Options:
- Do not send notifications
- 5 minutes before the scheduled break
- 10 minutes before
- 15 minutes before
- 20 minutes before
Select the timing that best suits your company’s workflow.
Step 3: Scheduling Breaks
After setting your notification preference, be sure to schedule actual breaks for staff. Once breaks are scheduled, the system will queue up SMS reminders based on your selected timing.
