Please note that permission to set and manage a budget must be granted by a supervisor.
After deciding on your budget development approach, navigate to the sidebar menu and click on the Budget Planner icon, which is denoted by the $ sign.
The appearance of your display will vary depending on the planning method you select. Each display will show information for a 7-day period.
When viewing by location, you will be presented with a summary of the total budgeted amount for the entire location, the total amount scheduled,
and the variance between the two on daily and weekly basis.
When viewing by duty, you will find the duties listed on the left with the budgeted amounts for each duty over a seven-day period,
along with a weekly total on the right.
When viewing by Zone, you'll find the Zones listed on the left with the budgeted amounts for each zone over a seven-day period,
along with a weekly total on the right.
When viewing by Duty and Zone, the zones will be presented as tabs across the top of the page. Duties will be listed on the left with the budgeted amounts for each duty over a seven-day period, as well as a weekly total on the right side of the display.
Choosing to plan your budget by Zone and Duty offers the most detailed approach to budget management. This method provides in-depth information at a more granular level compared to other options.
To input your budget amounts, which represent the target you aim to achieve, simply click on a cell to the right of any row labeled “Total Budgeted.”
Enter the desired dollar amount or hours.
To save your input, press the enter key. There is no separate save button needed - all data is automatically saved when you press enter.
At the bottom of the page, you'll find the Floating Data Bar in dark mode.
This feature will be visible when you are in a scheduling view,
like Staff View or Shift View.
To customize the data displayed in your budget, simply click on the filter icon located at the top left corner of the page.
