In the Requests section, managers view and resolve (assign, deny, approve or notify) staff requests pertaining to schedule changes.
There are three types of Requests:
- Swap and Reassignment: Staff requests to exchange, release or change their assigned shifts.
- Time Off: Staff requests for time off.
- Available Shifts (Ready for assignment): These shifts have been published but remain unfilled. Staff members have expressed interest in picking them up.
To start the process of managing requests, follow the steps provided below.
Your initial login location is set as the default workspace. However, for the locations you manage, you have the flexibility to work in multiple locations simultaneously.
Click on the drop-down menu to choose different combinations of locations where you want to work. Check or uncheck the boxes. Click Done when finished.
After selecting the desired locations,
use the date picker to specify the range of dates you want to manage.
You have a wide variety of workspace options, from one day to a full year.
The blue line under the Swap & Reassignment heading means that the data displayed in the rows below are the swap & reassignment requests needing your attention. To work on Time Off or Available Shifts, simply click on those headings. The pertinent data will populate in the rows below the highlighted heading.
Click a category to see the requests connected to that category.
Click on a shift to manage and resolve the request.
