What is Duties in Location Settings ?

Duties are job titles such as “RN”, “LPN”, “CNA” or any occupational task you gave your employee upon hiring. Assigning a duty to an employee will allow filtering options to be performed.

Key Features of the Duties Tab

  1. Duty Name:

    • Each duty listed in the tab is identified by its Name. This name is used to clearly define the role or task associated with the duty, making it easy to identify and manage within the system.
  2. Pay Rate:

    • The Pay Rate for each duty is displayed alongside the duty name. This allows administrators and managers to quickly review the compensation associated with each role. The pay rate can be adjusted as necessary when creating or editing a duty and is optional to put in.
  3. Toggle for Activating or Deactivating Duties:

    • A toggle option is available to activate or deactivate a duty. This feature enables you to manage which duties are currently in use. By switching the toggle to active, the duty becomes available for scheduling, while deactivating it makes it unavailable. This is useful for adjusting roles based on operational needs or temporary changes.
  4. Edit or Delete Options:

    • Each duty has an Edit and Delete option. The Edit option allows you to modify details such as the duty name, pay rate, and other settings. The Delete option removes a duty entirely from the list.

  1. Filter Option:

    • In the top right corner of the Duties Tab, you will find a Filter option. This feature allows you to narrow down the list of duties based on specific criteria, such as active status or inactive status.  Filtering makes it easier to focus on particular duties, especially in larger organizations with numerous roles.
  2. Search Engine:

    • The Search Engine is located near the filter option and enables you to quickly locate a specific duty by entering keywords or specific names. This feature is especially useful when dealing with a long list of duties, allowing you to find exactly what you need without scrolling through the entire list.
